Long Exposed Engagementby YomiComment: Greetings from the Critique Club...
The layout on this tripych is nice, and the waterfall is nicely exposed in the long exposure. When I first saw this image in the challenge, I couldn't really figure out what your theme or storyline with the series was... I did not make the connection that the two images had been combined for the center image until I read your notes here... I think maybe the theme aspect of the challenge could have been stronger overall by changing up the presentation a bit...
Keep up the good work :)

Inner City Emeraldsby peter_kComment: this looks a bit out of focus and i had to look pretty hard to figure out what you were trying to show as 'glass'. |

Waterwayby vince31874Comment: I think this is an excellent black and white, but I don't particularly care for the centered composition as much as I might if it was off center somewhat... |

Scary Monster (not really)by brentg3Comment: Greetings from the Critique Club :)
Hi Brentg3...
This is an interesting looking bug for sure... The 'documentary' style shot looks ok. I could imagine seeing a photo similar to this in an insect book of some sort.
The photo meets the challenge, but there doesn't seem to be anything extremely inspiring about the image.

see my micro-organismsby CompaqComment: Greetings from the Critique Club...
This photo doesn't meet the challenge. I don't perceive much effort towards the challenge, and the image quality is very poor.
Better luck next time....

Elm Hillby GalinaComment: This is an excellent image... I love the quaint city setting and the empty streets and walkways... I think the toning is just a bit heavy though... excellent image :) |
