How many different lighting options did you try to see how light changes could change the mood of the photo? I believe that some considerations of these elements could have helped you create a higher impact photo.

This is a nice photo. I like the blue tone and the overall composition quite a bit. I don't vote based on the challenge topic, but if I did, you would lose point for this photo as a 'still life'. A still life photo should not convey motion, and this one does :)

Very nice job with the lighting on this image. One thing you may want to consider on an image like this is the visibility of the surface. Your dolls appear to be floating in space. Personally, I enjoy a bit of anchoring on an image like this with some visible surface :)

The image would probably work better for me if there was some more light on the ball. The ball is probably suffering from motion blur here due to a slower shutter speed under these lighting conditions. That does not really support the 'still life' idea when you think about it...
