Iris in declineby JC_HomolaComment: Greetings from the Critique Club...
Hi JC...
This photo shows shallow depth of field quite well. The technique worked for the photo. As for the photo itself, I did not find a high level of interest in the subject. That's just my personal taste though. I couldn't find any particular point of interest that grabbed my attention. |

A moment alone.by GeocideComment: This is a great capture... I love this type of 'street photography'. I have been looking at a lot of it lately. I don't know if this guy is homeless or not but the dirt under his fingernails really seems to stand out for me... along with the unshaven face. The 'kramer' hair and the 'i don't give a dam' look on the face really creates some punch for me also. There are all sorts of subtleties in this image that are nice... I wonder how many people will notice the out of focus 'no smoking' sign in the background :) If I should forget to add this photo to my favorites, please remind me :) Excellent capture... |

You must let go, she´s goneby helgiComment: I think this photo speaks well enough on its own that you don't need to imply somethign with the title. I like to look at a photo and create my own set of wonders without being told by the title :) |

Hot Bath by Firstrich1Comment: Excellent work... letting go of some thoughts and stresses associated with a long day... relaxation is finally at hand. A glass of merlot... Enya on the CD player... hot water... the light from candles... a nice escape :)
I like this as a black and white. It works well. Some sepia toning here could also add some nice 'warmth' to the image to support the 'relaxation' theme as well... Excellent work :)

waiting to let go....by theodor38Comment: I love it... I like everything about this photo. I think it would be even stronger as a straight b/w. The toning here possibly implies some amount of 'warmth' rather than a harsh cold to go along with the environment. If you would like to play with toning that would support the theme of this photo, u may wanna try some blues... excellent work :) |

Dusty Love Songby JPRComment: This is nice... a good take on a classic theme. the black and white works nicely here and the slight amount of motion is also excellent :) Great shot.. |

Final Goodbyeby skybelowComment: This is nice work. It's one of the better 'negative' images I have seen here. |
