The Key's to Successby jefalkComment: Beautiful capture. I love the pose and the setting. I think the only thing that could possibly strengthen this photo would be some light to highlight the detail of the piano casing on the right side of the frame. = 10 |

portre ressami by kiwinessComment: This is extreme... reminiscent of the national geographic portrait but in a studio environment. Great color and composition... the catch light in the eyes is perfect. Kudos on a great shot.. = 10 |

Round & Roundby qmdiComment: Greetings from the Critique Club...
This is a nicely executed black and white. Your theme and composition work very well. Framing the amusement park inside the suspended ring is a nice touch. The only thing I don't particularly like about this composition is the proximity of the ring to the edges of the lower three borders. I personally believe that a little breathing room around the edges would add strength to the composition.
Your choice of color in the border also puzzles me a bit. Even though it's a thin line of color, it does not support any color in the image. A good border goes unnoticed. Borders that make me ask 'why' may need to be examined a little deeper. White or about any shade of gray would replace that nicely :)

from above by SeanachaiComment: Excellent photo and congrats on a blue ribbon :) I know how hard it can be to catch Jacko and Kiwi in a single photograph. It seems that they were both distracted by a female monkey that was in the tree above them :) |

Mother and Daughter (Reluctant models)by geewhyComment: "It is easy to make a picture of someone and call it a portrait. The difficulty lies in making a picture that makes the viewer care about a stranger." - Paul Strand"
This is not a bad composition. I personally don't care much for this exposure/post processing combo. |

I'm missing something particular that would draw me into this photo. |
