This is a nicely executed black and white. Your theme and composition work very well. Framing the amusement park inside the suspended ring is a nice touch. The only thing I don't particularly like about this composition is the proximity of the ring to the edges of the lower three borders. I personally believe that a little breathing room around the edges would add strength to the composition.

Your choice of color in the border also puzzles me a bit. Even though it's a thin line of color, it does not support any color in the image. A good border goes unnoticed. Borders that make me ask 'why' may need to be examined a little deeper. White or about any shade of gray would replace that nicely :)

Excellent photo and congrats on a blue ribbon :) I know how hard it can be to catch Jacko and Kiwi in a single photograph. It seems that they were both distracted by a female monkey that was in the tree above them :)

This is not a bad composition. I personally don't care much for this exposure/post processing combo.
