marbles in the sticksby LawtonComment: Definitely bright, but something just doesn't work in the shot. I'm thinking that leaving out the marbles might have helped - they are difficult to recognize immediately, and are more like background interruptions of the image rather than subject matter. But, I think you are onto something with the contrast of long & straight with short & round - worth playing around with, perhaps with a more ordered arrangement. |

drop and flowerby prashant_168Comment: Nice shot. Lots and lots of nice, bright colors, with the central subject being the water droplets. |

It's Timeby antje1777Comment: Simple. Effective. I like the tie-in of the numbers and the background. |

with a splash of webby FourPointXComment: Love the web, but too much stuff in the shot, IMO. A tighter crop and better defined single subject might work better. The trees / leaves / branches in the background are distracting to me. |

Brrrrrby bhugeComment: Multnomah Falls - great place for pictures! I love the bright red jacket against the muted colors in the rest of the picture. Must have been cold with all the ice to either side of the falls. |

Pick Up The Pieces by ksierrasComment: Touching image. Not the visual whiz-bang that scores high on dpc, but a more thoughtful, engaging picture. If this is really you, here's wishing you all the best, and many good and wonderful things in 2013!
I could easily see this hanging in a pediatric doctor or dentist's office. It really is that good. |

Take a Tripby AbraComment: Looks like you photoshopped out his lounge chair - the angles are just perfect. Very nice capture. |

Fat to Fitby Yo_SpiffComment: They really need to make those bike tires wider - cut down on the visual contrast between their size & the rider's!
Congratulations on your progress, and congrats to your wife for joining you in the adventure. Changing your lifestyle is the key, and you r both doing that - yeah! |

shoot more celebritiesby tangueraComment: Beautiful photo, definitely scored too low, I think the dissonance between it and the other entries hurt the score - not quite what the voter was looking for this time around. I love that the tone of the image fits the subject, just as the tone of some of your antique-y shots add so much to the picture, same here, except that the tone is very bright, in-your-face, unusual, attention-grabbing, PR centric, etc. 'Tis a magnificent image, 'tis, 'tis! |
