"You are in a maze of twisty passages, all alike."by pixelpigComment: Boy does that bring back memories! A co-worker offered a $5 reward for the first person in the office that got a perfect score. Fortunately, the boss was on vacation that week. We could all get within one point of the maximum score and were stuck until someone figured it out (and it wasn't me!). |

Living roomby whiterookComment: I love the colors in the vase, the flip album of pictures (and the ocean picture visible), the oof hanging lamp with white cut glass "shade", and the wonderful picture in the background. This feels like a very relaxed space, comfy and inviting.
If you want nit-picks about the image...it feels a bit tilted (the bottom of the vase, and the right edge of the picture frame). I like the vase and ribbon, but am not fond of the glitter eggs on a wire sticking out of the top. Because they are bright color, centered and in focus, they become a draw to the eye - pulling it away from other nice aspects of the image. You also have the left edge of the frame running through the spaces between the various parts of the vase. If not done intentionally, it would probably be less distracting with the vase entirely in front of the edge of the frame, or completely inside the frame.
Nice to see you entering challenges - especially one that scared me away... ;-p |

All Aloneby illini75Comment: Great image and processing. IMO, the doll looks too posed. I think a more dropped or discarded positioning would be more effective. |

Starburst by illini75Comment: The appearance of depth just makes this shot outstanding. Great color and detail. But, oh that depth - looks like it is exploding out of the screen at you. |

nothing to sayby mrbig65Comment: Or, "Shut Up and Go Away!" Interesting concept and catpure. Not sure it makes a compelling image, but not sure not either, if you know what I mean. |

Cativatingby meowComment: If you can't see the background, does that count as full frame? On my monitor, all but the eyes looks pure black. But those eyes are oh, so captivating. Love the detail and the color and the depth. |

a portrait of loohawby bspurgeonComment: This is an excellent example of choosing one subject and not being distracted by other "interesting" things in the picture (like showing the ocean or the waves, or color in the rocks, etc.) The outline is very interesting - this is a great capture. |

Terra Novaby DeniseComment: Non-symmetry of name on bow makes whole picture look non-symmetrical. I like the colors and the rust contrast. |
