D E N I E D ! by Art RoflmaoComment: Great concept. Nicely executed. Makes me feel like there is a story here - a statement about being different. In fact, the concepts come through very nicely and the photo doesn't interfere with it in any way. |

HKAR0498by kardousComment: Bummer about the DQ. DPC takes their rule sets very seriously.
On your profile page, you have the option to watermark your image with a copyright after voting, so it really isn't necessary on the image itself.
Voting is intended to be based on the image alone, and not influenced by who the photographer is - a copyright notice kind-of circumvents that.
Don't be discouraged. Enter often. Comment on others' images a lot. This is a great place to learn and grow. |

upon a fenceby tnunComment: Wonderful shot. Different - took me a second to realize what it was / what you'd done. It has a delicate, almost lace-like quality to it. Plus, it has a very nice appearance of depth, drawing you into a special place. |

Sinking by gyabanComment: Christophe! The higher resolution version is well worth a look - the dpc sized one loses too much. |

Falling Water Cascades by MinsoPhotoComment: IMO, this is a victim of split primary subject - the rocks in the foreground, or the waterfalls? To see what I mean, look at the image with the top just above the top of the bottom water falls.
This is a great shot of one falls, its catch basin and glistening rocks. Then, look at the shot with the bottom just below the white spot on the rock just left of the bottom of the falls.
This is a very nice shot of a waterfalls in the woods. Either main subject is better than the shot as you entered it.
Of course, you scored better than me in this challenge, so what do I know? Message edited by author 2014-08-08 14:27:48. |
