con - cen - tra - tionby OdedComment: Unappealing expression. Nice even lighting on face, clothes & hands. A little blown out in upper right, but does not distract too badly. |

Eratsby stare_at_the_sunComment: Way too much distraction on either side. A tighter crop with just the chimney bricks & model would have made a better shot. If you look at it, it almost looks like that photo was superimposed over a city shot. |

reluctant dancerby paulavComment: Everything looks out of focus. If it had been in focus, you may want to consider cropping it just in front of the girl in yellow. |

Platinum by librodoComment: An otherwise excellent photo is destroyed by an out of focus bottom 1/3 - which is, unfortunately, where the observer's eye is drawn. I don't know what it is - but you may have had a top ribbon if it was cropped just below the chin. The light on the veil makes it look like metal mesh, and this is accented by the metallic lipstick and almost-metallic look to the skin. But the topper is that marvelous metallic reflection / glint in her visible eye. |

My One and Onlyby russiansergeeComment: Mouths open wide are, generally, not attractive - unless you're a dentist and they're a paying customer. |

Oooh!by JacquiDComment: What a cute shot (and, I'm sure a precious moment). The photo has a high level of graininess - especially noticeable in the girl's face, shirt, pants, and background at the left of the photo. This really, really hurts the quality of this photo. Many digitals (Fuji is especially naughty about this) crank the ISO up way high automatically (like ISO-1600 or ISO-3200) to allow you to shoot in lower light - at the expense of photo quality. When you sharpen, it only makes it worse. |

Balanceby simplesilentComment: Too dark - lightening it a bit to clarify the face and a tighter crop on the left would improve this shot. |

Da Boyzby kelmatComment: I think you could have lost most of the empty brick on the left without hurting the shot. A great "attitude" shot and the monochrome is a plus on this one. The boys looking in the same direction, but away from the camera add to the "attitude". |
