The future's bright!by NatashaComment: I like the idea, but the shadows are too harsh, with too much difference between the light and dark areas. |

My Door is Always Openby debapakaComment: This looks like an entry for Framing. Nice idea, and you've done a nice job of framing the shot in the broken window. But, somehow, it takes a non-trivial effort to really see the broken window framing your main subject. I think your added frame is working against you - too wide / heavy and you mentally dismiss the edges because of the heavy frame. A light, white, narrow frame might have served your shot better. |

The House that Time Forgotby benjamin7472Comment: Wonderful lighting. Try a closer crop on the house. Perhaps shooting it closer, to lose some of the branches obscuring the roof & porch - if that was possible. |

Southsideby pacpintoComment: This is an excellent example of leading lines. Your eye is drawn strongly towards the upper right of the picture. In this photo, it serves to draw the eye away from the foreground to the non-descript background. Try cropping this just past the first rectangle window grill, and see what you think. |

Waiting for the Crackerby kawesttexComment: Ah! What do the voters know? This is an excellent picture. Lighting on the bird, and detail is superb. Big challenge, with lots of entries, people voting fast, I think this just got overlooked by a lot of voters. Definitely deserved much higher than 4.9. |

Downtown illuminatedby alphadogA100Comment: Needs straightening, unless the sliding downhill to the left was intentional. Otherwise, a decent night shot. Building on left is a bit dark, and the white building just jumps out and almost overpowers the scene. |
