Chucksby ctComment: Here. I'll help you towards the brown. If this is a serious shot, it is too dark, your shot center is about the knees (which are OOF), the legs are at a weird angle, the POV is too low (looking up at the underside of the picnic table), and there is way too much in the shot besides the chucks. |

Pearls of Perfumeby ScomanComment: The OOF cap drops this from a spectacular shot to a no show for me. The pink background (nice and even) gives it the essence, and the blurred cap just stands out in stark contrast to the rest of the image's feel. 6 |

Chivas Regal: the only color in the photoby Rino63Comment: Next time, try opening the bottom of the box, leaving the top pristine, rather than with the ears sticking up on either side. For me, a bit more scotch in the glass would have been better. Some people sure have to go a long way to find something to criticize! |

Smooth Jazz - 107.3 FMby ErikVComment: I know it is just me, but this has the wrong orientation - for me, the bell should be along the right side of the shot. Very nice capture as it is. |

Waterfront Livingby NicNic101Comment: While the graininess is a problem, I think an equal problem is the the near long side of the building is almost completely in shadow. If the sun is ever on this side of the building, having the visible two sides nicely lit, and a little tighter crop probably would have netted you a much better score. I'm with you, though. This trying to shoot outdoors in cold, wet, rainy, snowy weather is not fun. |

Untitledby emerygirl25Comment: Trust me, this is the way to start at dpchallenge. You've already achieved "the brown" which I've yet to do, despite several serious attempts (serious, but not intentional...). Welcome to dpchallenge - hope to see a lot more of your work. There are lots of opportunities here to learn and improve. Try visiting the forums (Community) and participate in some side challenges, read the tutorials, etc. Lots here. We're glad you're here. |
