Very nice lighting and creative posing - with both subjects in profile. Focus is spot-on. For me, the background - though oof - detracts from the image through creating an artificial space for the main subject(s) to fit into (which they don't quite - lamp intersects woman's head, dog's head is backed in its entirety by the wall), with the container of stuff above her knee, and the rectangle centered in the artificial space mentioned above.

Love the face and the expression around the eyes. Fits B&W great. I find the light areas in the lower part of the photo almost compete with the face for your attention.

Ah - those eyes! They grab your attention immediately. Love how the face seems to float mid-pane. On the nit-picky side - what is that big white object in the left pane? But you have the right edge lined up with the eyes, so maybe it is part of the magic...

Emily is beautiful! The lighting and detail are great. I'm not sure if I like the image being off-center (or maybe it is the "almost touching" on the one side). My biggest "nit" is that you've introduced a shape that isn't congruent with the rest of the image in the form a a triangle in the bottom right.

Nicely done. Amount of light on different parts of the face are just right - highlighting the expression, but almost hiding the ears. About the only thing distracting is the hoodie fold along the model-right neck, and that is minor (I think it is the light blue color.) Great detail.
