Ceeper by BaldurTComment: The white of the eye, and the tilt to the shot definitely makes this fit the title. |

Stillby sjhulsComment: The person adds a pensive feel to the shot - a bit of life in a restless universe. |

Ominous encounterby markwileyComment: Nope. Too dark and too light. The pose does not come across as threatening - the "assailant's" right hand looks like it is in his pocked, and (maybe just my monitor), it is too dark to see anything threatening in his left hand. Also, the tilt of his head is more inquiring than threatening.
The pattern in the floor, and texture of the bricks in the floor and the walls is very nice. |

rendezvousby bspurgeonComment: Love the shine off the tile and the distance portrayed. Huge eye draw to nothing, and then you follow the other path - to the right, and notice the open door, and the back of shoes. Definite feel of mystery and curiosity as to what is going on. Nicely done. |

She Waitsby JutildaComment: Perhaps just my monitor, but a bit too dark. At first glance, a cat. At closer inspection, not. The gleam from the eye, the hind foot claws illuminated. The lack of anything to give perspective as to the size of the creature. This has a sinister feel to it. Very nicely done. |

Man Made Sunset.by Bill666Comment: The gate that leads to who knows where. A sunset, and ending perhaps, or just a delay - 'Til it rushes 'round to start a new day. |

roomsby raishComment: What do I see? Look! Down the alley. A shadow creeps. Barely visible; Then a fleeting, sharp outline in a dim patch of light. Others sleep, or are unaware. But I stand at my window and stare. What is that? lurking there? |

Leapby AdzComment: Decent night shot, but it doesn't "pull me in" - for me, this shot makes it too easy for me to be just an observer. |
