Ouch. Nice visual effect where the fork appears to be *in* the hand. Blood is pretty good - but IMO, falls down in two areas - last run against the hand is too red - should be color of clump just above the run - and the clump above the run has no reason to be there, unless they've been posed like that long enough for the blood to dry / coagulate. Regardless, visual is close enough to fool unless you look at it too long. Also like the single star on the plate. This just makes me wince in pain...

Too bad your in-challenge voters didn't take the time to look up babayaga. It led me on a merry chase through the related stories, which I was totally unaware of. After doing the homework, this is a great image that does a great job of capturing the feel of babayaga.
