Smooth and cool, and awesome framing to boot |

I like the juxtaposition of the in-focus foreground with the cycle rider in the background. The curved piece makes a nice leading line to the rider. I'm not sure there is enough of interest in the foreground - my eye kind-of skips directly to the end of the word VELOCE. Very nice contrast in this piece, but maybe a tad dark overall. Great eye, and very nice capture. |

You're getting images together for a cycle coffee-table book, I see. Nice one. |

Nicely done like the details and processing on this. Shows that an image doesn't have to be complex and colorful to be a strong image. |

Looks like an advertising picture. I like how the highlight underlines the word. The tones are beautiful. |

I'm going through the entries, stopping at those images I feel have had the benefit of an unconventional eye and dwelling a little longer to try to see and appreciate what you saw. This is one of those images.
Positives: This is a beautifully constructed image - good enough for an advertising poster. The tones are perfect and the POV and DOF absolutely do the job.
Critical stuff: I think you could have shaved a little off the right side, so losing that structure.
Overall: Brilliantly done - I'd like to know what inspired you to take this perspective. |

The lines and curves make this pop off the screen. |

Would make an excellent advertising shot! Nice bike shot on its own, too. |

Lovely conversion to B&W. Left me wondering what exactly it is despite the clue in the BG. I thought brake lever but it's a brake mechanism? No Vote due pre-challenge assistance. Hope it fares well Steve despite it's DPC FS non conformism :) Because I enjoy thought provoking well conceptualised technical images and the quality B&W conversion I'd have given at least a FS 7. |

The has an excellent composition and an energetic modern feel to it and it all works so well in B&W, should finish in the top 20%. |
