very nice, I like the angle you chose for the photo, nomally reflections distract from an image like this, but I think it improved this one. The border helped as well

I fear voters might not view this as "weathered". IMO the image doesn't have a focal point to draw you in.

The fence is distracting...if you could have avoided that it would have helped the image.

nice use of DOF, good color, since there is another chain in the contest which IMO does this just a tad bit better, you might suffer from the comparison in scoring.

I would have preferred a 1/3 break on the horizon rather than splitting the image. And IMO the contrast between the sky and foreground is too great.

Good potential with this old house. On my screen the contrast between the house (dark) and the sky (blown out) is too great. If you were to photograph it again, you might move in closer so the "weathering" and overgrowth on the housecould be seen. That would remove the overhead wires and cut down on the amount of sky. A time of day with a softer light might also help.

I fear my friend that this might not do well. The focus seems to be really soft and I assume it might be viewed as an abstract image, I fear that people will just view it as lacking focus.

I have mixed emotions on this, good color and I like the angle of "Chevrolet". I find the light on the right top side to be distracting. If I were you and taking this again, I would have tried to suppress that light somehow. The varying levels of light adds to the image, the harshness and reflections hurt.
