This is a very intimate portrait, not just of a child but of a relationship (presumably father and son). I appreciate the soft black and white treatment. It's also a welcome diversion from a challenge full of working folk and homeless people.

Remarkable indeed. Bill clearly has a lot of stories to tell. There's so much to take in here and the image is bursting with texture and details. For that reason, the heavy handed processing was unnecessary. It's a busy enough image as it is, and I don't think the Topaz-like treatment was needed at all. (But I have a feeling I'm in the minority on that.)
