Untitledby BarbBComment: This is a very intimate portrait, not just of a child but of a relationship (presumably father and son). I appreciate the soft black and white treatment. It's also a welcome diversion from a challenge full of working folk and homeless people. |

Bill...A Remarkable Guyby dtallaksonComment: Remarkable indeed. Bill clearly has a lot of stories to tell. There's so much to take in here and the image is bursting with texture and details. For that reason, the heavy handed processing was unnecessary. It's a busy enough image as it is, and I don't think the Topaz-like treatment was needed at all. (But I have a feeling I'm in the minority on that.) |

Lavender Ladyby DistantColoursComment: Beautiful, beautiful. Purple everywhere. One minor quibble is that her expression looks a bit tense, forced maybe. Catching her in a more relaxed moment would have helped.
Overall, very nice. |

The Farmerby ambakerComment: The face is a bit soft, but overall it works. I like the unique point of view that shows us the fruits of his labor (pun intended). His stance and the expression say a lot too. |

You like 'em?by BeggaComment: Fabulous! So much geometry to take in here -- not just the glasses, but the shape of his head, the point of his beard, the collar... And the black and white treatment goes a long way to accentuate it. |

Store Clerk at Radishby mathewjsandersComment: A good environmental portrait. He's in uniform and there's a lot to see in his surroundings. I think you could have gotten a bit closer and not lost anything. |
