Visual Artby jbrightComment: There's an interesting dichotomy here. On one hand, it's a beautifully complex modern structure, framed to show that off to maximum effect. On the other, the monochrome shows us how weathered it is. If it weren't for the stunning architecture, we might guess that these were the walls of an industrial or abandoned structure. |

Skinby james_soComment: This is more clinical than anything I've seen of Ben's. The grain feels less like a mood enhancer and more like a byproduct of an extreme macro or low-light capture. These are observations, reactions -- not really criticisms. I like what you're showing us, and the monochrome emphasizes the structure and texture of the plant like it should. |

in trainingby oldbimmercoupeComment: As a rule, I'm not crazy about backsides or telephoto candids. Yet I have to admit to being mildly intrigued by this. It has a voyeuristic quality. Who or what is lurking in those nicely manicured suburban bushes, I wonder. |

hunting for brownby curtpetguyComment: I'm not crazy about the processing (selective blur?) but the composition is interesting -- the hat, the stride, that she's about to be crushed by background structure... |

untitledby Marc923Comment: The simplicity of this summons Ben. I like that you've eschewed poetic titling and let this stand (or fall) on its own. Interesting bokeh. |

Scapesby caseyfaceComment: A very musical composition -- like following the wand of a great composer. |

out to seaby jmritzComment: A nine from me. I stared at it for a while. Got lost in it momentarily. Beautiful. |

Her Graceby AlynComment: Had trouble putting words to this one -- or maybe I was just afraid to. What I'm finding is that this has a certain erotic charge to it. Strangely appealing. I don't know what else to say. |
