A four for you. This has some potential, but here's what's bugging me: The sky is colorful but too blown out. Also, I'm a big fan of center framing, but I don't feel like it works here. I think I'd rather see it landscape oriented and off to one side.

A four for you, though it's not entirely your fault. I'm completely jaded by pictures of people on cell phones. It's low hanging fruit as far as street photography goes. Her grumpy face makes me chuckle though.

A six for you. I'm feeling generous. I love the movie (though I've never gotten all the way through the book) so maybe I'm a tad biased. The boy should be bare-chested, have war paint, and be carrying something more intimidating than a branch for this to really work. I do like the sepia treatment, the bokeh.

A photo that I not only like (which would earn you an eight and a babbling technical explanation) but that further strikes me on some primal level. So I can't quite explain why I'm giving it a ten. But that's kind of the point.
