I like the tension in this scene. The processing suggests a warm, cherished moment, but the mood suggests otherwise.

Not many images can properly go into the Candid and Seascape galleries. This works.

A bit soft but a terrific moment. The sepia is okay, but I think this would have held up with the cooler grays of black and white.

You MUST share with us how you processed this. Dreamy, great geometry and beautiful processing.

It's good to get down and see things from a child's point of view. Shooting from the hip makes that easy. Great sepia here.

Is this cross-processed? Excellent work either way!

Again, I'm flattered. The "arm swing technique" requires a small camera and a pretty fast shutter -- nothing slower than about 1/100, and even then it's a crap shoot. Try boosting your ISO if your camera can handle it.

Something else I just thought of -- maybe only 1 in 5 of the shots I capture like this actually come out. So I get a lot of what you got -- motion blur, bad focus, a sleeve or camera strap in the picture. It's really a haphazard way to shoot candids, but it's a lot of fun (for me anyway), and when I'm lucky, I get some things that are really up close and personal.

Sunglasses help too...

I love the positioning of everything here -- sun in the upper right, tourists in its line, and nice long shadows completing the trip out the lower left. Nice sepia processing too.

What did Steve do to deserve this? I like a good bus stop too!!

This is terrific. I like how everyone seems to be looking somewhere different. And this looks great against that backdrop (posters, headless brides, etc.). A more subtle observation, but the verticals seems to be converging toward the bottom of the image, which gives it some gravity. Lastly I'll comment on the cool colors -- the blues and greens. Nice indeed.
