Great! This has a real manneristic feel to it.

I agree that the guy in the center really anchors the shot. The brighter clothes, the perfunctory stare at the viewer -- without him I think this would have been less interesting. He seems to be someone the viewer can identify with.

I like this a lot. There's a metaphor here, I'm sure: Amidst the hopeleslly monolithic and uniform surroundings, he manages to do his own thing, as if trying to break out. This is accentuated by the fact that he's down low and not standing tall. Maybe that's a bit deep -- he's probably just texting his wife to say that he'll pick up bread on his way home.
