Terrific composition, brilliant use of DOF, eye-popping contrast, and intriguing things happening (or suggested) everywhere. The sepia is the icing on the cake. Nice work!

Beautifully composed. The man is reclining along the diagonal of the image, as emphasized by his pinstripes. Great expressions, wonderful in black and white. My grandmother was born in Greece -- I've never been, but you have me ready to come see what it's all about!

A backdrop of headless women in bras -- how can you go wrong?! The gothic hand on the side is a nice contrast -- the people seem oblivious to their surroundings.

I like this better as a city scene than a street capture, where the man is just part of the scene. Personally I get tired of seeing people playing with their cell phones. I once heard a jazz photographer lament that the problem with jazz photography today is that no one smokes any more. The problem with good street photography today is that everyone's on the phone. Times change, I guess.

Sorry if I digressed. I do like the colors and the warm but vivid lighting here. The man's shirt obviously works well here. Nicely composed also.

I like this but because it doesn't scream zone plate. Here the zone plate looks more like a means to an end than an end in itself -- which is a good thing. Lovely.

Great presentation. The zone plate adds to the impact of the subject matter. Is that supernatural glow (in this and other images) part of the zone plate effect, or was that done in processing?
