Hayfeverby keoneComment: Nice color - golden straw. Great composition - the woods and field cutting the picture not quite in half - the scattering of bales, and one big one to focus on in the forground. I like the light making dark circles on the ends of the bales. Could the big bale be a bit further into the frame? More on the 3rds line? 8 |

The sweet smell of lunchby loz1Comment: I keep coming back to this. I like the b/w, I like the reach of the zebra's neck from the bottom right corner. The curves of the zebra's head and neck are mirrored i the wall behind. I might crop some of the top off, make it a little less busy. 8 |

Smell The Purpleby ShovalComment: Great expression, inhaling smell, peaceful. however the light is too blue and flat. The picture to dark and flat. perhaps taking this at a time with more sunlight. |

My Two Scents Worthby drgsoellComment: cute idea - contrasting scents all in one frame - two reactions. Nicely lit, well done effect. Wish the background were all black (I can see some blue and lines in the drape) and the table is a bit busy. I love the cat t-shirt, but it distracts from the focus: the face and the reactions to the smell. |

Afternoon Temptationby qachykComment: A stong smell, that brings forth many associations - afternoon snack, movie theatres, the circus...I wish this had a cleaner composition. I like how you include the microwave, but maybe with the popcorn inside framed by the door would be more logical? Less cluttered. Here the empty wrapper and the various angles and lines of the counter distract. |

Scent of a Womanby SinisterComment: Nice soft lighting, wish it didn't get so dark in the top corners. I don't get any feeling for why the bottles are arranged this way - random? I wish there were more meaning to the photo - a woman's arm with drops of perfume on the wrist? Flowers to represent the scents? |

divergence of good scentsby wkmenComment: I understand the contrast here, but it looks just like two photos set side by side - no relationship between them. If they were all in the same frame you could give some meaning through the composition or the lighting. Each photo is good - though small and hard too see if they are really sharp, and see the details of texture. |

FESTIVE SMELLby RUEDISCHMUTZComment: I do love the smell of pine burning, but this looks accidental - yikes! I'd rather see pine bows all golden in the fireplace. The green of the pine is a nice brightcolor. I don't know where the funny pink cast to the cadle and smoke comes from. |

Scent of an Onionby jab119Comment: soft lighting, soft focus. Perhaps odd for such a sharp smell. Since the composition is in this close I'd like to seee more detail. - better light better focus. |
