Snow Catby buzzrockComment: Wow those wiskers pop! Nice use of DOF. What a fierce expression - those pointy white teeth, the ears twisted just so. My cats wish they looked this intimidating! |

Earth Tonesby jonpinkComment: What interesting texture - is this mud spead over the face and dried and cracking? The contast between that dry flat texture and those bright shining eyes is wonderful. The face emerges from the shadows subtlely topped with a red cloth and closed at the bottom with the white necklace. Wish the whole necklace were visible. |

Cardinal Bracing Against The Snow Storm by DrakeComment: I never tire of looking at this picture. It is just marvelous. The whirling snow against the gray background gives us a sense of movement, cold, environment. The warm soft bright bird really pops out of the background at the viewer - somehow both solidly and precariously perches on the curve of metal. The birds expression is so determined. I love the contrast between the bright smooth beak, striations of the wing feathers, and the soft fluffy breast feathers. And the touvh o snowflakes dusting her face. 10 |

Misterious Ladahkby rhipsterComment: Nice studio shot. Mask is well lit, colors are great. Wish foreground were totally black - I can see some of the fols of the cloth, and it distracts a bit. |

Urban Squirrelby PaulMdxComment: Lovely detail in the paws and tail - you can feel the sharpness and softness. Looks like he moved his head a bit, it isn't as clear. Maybe a crop from the top and the left would bring the composition together more. |

Western Spacesby falveyComment: A carpet of clouds! It took me a minute to see. My eyes are drawn more by the silouetted pine. I think it would be better with the clouds being your main attraction - they are unusual, the tree isn't. Perhaps moving the tree to the edge of the photo, with the trunk framing one side, and then the spreading clouds sweeping out below? |

Founder of a Nationby magnetic9999Comment: Very grand and proper. The blue light is unearthly contrasting with the warm spotlight on the bronze. Perhaps a more interesting angle would give more drama, visual motion - an angle from lower down below George, making the dome a halo over his head? |

Romanic Architecture of the 11th Centuryby Harz_JoergComment: Careful composition - the lines all come together nicely. I like the patterns and colors of the columns. Lacks a point of interest - a person peeking from behind a column, or sitting with legs dangling... something to catch your eye, break up the regularity of the lines. |

Getawayby roy204Comment: Dramatic colors and clouds. Nice "frame" made by the posts (upper right would be better if top of post wasn;t cut off). Wish there were a spot of light to illuminate the foreground - so dark compared to the sky that you have to squint to see the lovely texture in the sand and are those crabs? |

Big Catsby svitalComment: nicely lit face, interesting background. The space between the wood with the green showing through distracts from the power of the face tho'. I wish the paws were included. |
