Chocolate Dreamby asijComment: Lovely lighting. Those shiny reds are so bold and I like the imbalance of the composition - as if everything is attracted to the chocolate and sliding towards it. 9 |

The First Bite Is The Sweetest.by CuriousComment: A simple subject, an elegant composition. I love the personality show, the anticipation! Lovely b&w very balanced with the face at one side and the chocolate not quite all the way tothe other side. The arms folded on the table create a nice horizontal line connecting them. Maybe just a tad sharper or more contrast? 9 |

Chocolate dreamsby HarrygComment: I like the swirl of creamy material and how it complements the flake chocolate. If your depth of focus were greater you'd have better impact - only a small middle section of this is in focus. It is also a bit dark and lacking in contracting lighting. |

Chaplinby basia03Comment: Chaplin should have used eclairs! Much yummier than potatos. I like your idea - it creates a funny mood, a unique story. The lighting is a bit harsh tho' - creating those distratcing shadows. A couple of lights from the sides with a warmer glow would create more of a diningroom feel. |

Hot Chocolate!by pearcerComment: Nice capture of these flames, I like the blue edges and the swirling blur, good timing - the golden cup is a perfect "crucible." The stick in the bottom left distracts me, what is it? |

From the Dark, Light prevailsby ArnarpComment: If you could have lit the white chocolate better - at an angle so you'd get shadows and definition in the "Cote D'or" lettering, the white would stad out better. |

Acceptanceby derekbeauComment: A lovely idea - I like the contrast between the darkand light and all those interesting curves, but it is entirely out of focus! What a shame! |

Cappuccino Brownby wimbelloComment: The chocolate dusting on top of the milk foam is a great subject. I wish the foam and chocolate were in better focus, the highly decorated cup is beautiful, but draws attention away from the subject, and the background is unremarkable but distracting for all the textural and tonal variations - it would work better if it were blurred. I do like how you composed the cup to the corner and not dead center. |

Can you smell it?by BeeGeeComment: I like the lighting and the context here. Cocolate bread straight out of the oven, you can feel the warmth because of the golden light and the dark recesses of the oven make a good background. Wish you had a greater depth of focus - the front edge of the pan and the bread are too soft. |

Silent Spaceby instepsComment: the textures and colors are great! The composition is a natural - sign is right on the "thirds line' and even the shadow creates a shape that works well with the rest. 8 |
