Of all the ducky photos this one really "popped" out at me. I like the smoothness of the water and its desaturation. The anlge of the duck works well with the ripples on the water. Somehow you've gotten the duck's expression to look "poignant." Lovely. 9

The best thing about this picture is the color! And not just the yellow - green, blue, red. I also like the balance of the compositionn - rotating it makes one forget about the physiscs and pay attention to the shapes and forms - chaos on the left and simplicity on the right. That is what makes the yellow standout. Tops for this challenge. 10

I might have cropped the top here. The triangle just doesn;t finish the top of the composition for me - it draws myeyes away from the pillars and how they contrast with the white interior, which is quite dramatic. Interesting choice of subject, dynamic composition. 6

I've come back to look at this picture about 5 times today. It captures jst what I love about snow - how it changes the world and creates new shapes and lines. The air itself is transformed. So now I must make it a favorite so I can always find it!

Charming family portrait. The expression on the childs face is so adoring, and the dads have nice warmth to them. Wish there weren't the dark shadow from the child on the white shirt - softer lighting would be more appropriate here.

Excellent idea! The lighting is well done. I wish there weren't creases on the background and that odd halo around the edge of the circle of light - a little selective blurring would make it more tidy.
