Congrats you definately met the challenge with this. I like this photo its amusing and charming at the same time. The dog has a very nice pose going. As for the way you have worked this in photoshop well it doesn't work for me. The graininess could be a plus if the dog was also a little grainy but it isn't. And the red being brought out on the shirt I'm not so sure of that either, you seem to have lost some of it and it leaves it a little rough looking. I would really like to see this before it was photoshopped. It just looks like a really cool pet photo that has been overprocessed. |

I'm not sure I like the red that much, but I do like the grainy, posterized look -- I try and picture this as a poster for a 1950's "B" movie ... : ) |

of all the dog shots in this challenge (and there are alot) this is by far the coolest as well as the most well done of any of them.
the dog looks just right for the shot and gives that great i'm proud to be a dog look if only we knew what he was thinking... great shot well taken |

I like this. The style this photograph is in works really well, composition is wonderful, and the look of the dog's face is brilliant. |

Yet more selective desaturation with naught but the most threadbare purpose. 6 |

Gritty, this photo has a distinct style. I think you used contrast to good effect. 7 |

creative processing - I like the effect - an ordinary dog looks mythic. There are odd and distracting shadows on the background. Like that superman T-shirt! |
