wheelby visaksenComment: I really like the composition here - that wheel filling the bottom right corner and the diagonal of the rest of the machine. The simplicity of the colors is nice -the yellow against the blue is very effective. I'm sure you'll get plenty of comments that this isn't a macro except in the reasoning that it isn't micro. It is good work nonetheless! |

Natural Eyeby grahampComment: Nice use of color - subtle and effective. The color helps to concentrate interest at the narrow point of sharp focus in the photo. Good composition and details |

Dandelionby rkfooteComment: I like the white and black division of the background. It is a nice composition. Wish the light on the dandelion was graduated more do the top of the flower seems significantly darker than the background and the lower half significantly brighter that the background. Perhaps a bit more contrast in post-processing? Maybe a bit larger DOF would bring the whole dandelion head into focus - creating more sharp details to contast with the background. |

86|Sby Dr.ConfuserComment: Nice composition and interesting subject. Light is a bit bright (details are burned out) on some keys. Wish everything was sharp - or you'd chosen a differnet angle and a narrow DOF and purposely had a progression of focus to out of focus. |

I Heart Youby SweetlipsComment: Very fresh and simple. Wish you'd chosen a narrower depth of focusso the background leaves were even blurrier. I'd clone out that twig on the right too. |

Lonely Strawberryby rjpatComment: Nice lighting - like a planet in space - works well with your title. Would be nicer with a fresher specimen (the bruise on the strawberry is distracting. Also I'ddarken the background more - even get rid of the line at the bottom. I like the way the leaves curl up and catch the light on the right hand side. |

Mothby spydrComment: Excellent detail, great color, well chosen composition that contrasts well with the subject and provides meanignful context. I only wish the top of the wings weren't cut off by the frame. Seems a tiny bit soft on focus. Those antennae are increadible! 8 |
