Incommunicadoby srugoloComment: Well - quite the opposite feeling of your romance entry! Works very well for the same reasons and more. You should do a tryptic (or a whole collection) of shots of this bench. Very good for off-center while the imbalance enhanced the connection of the two in the other photo - it works here to enhance the disconnect. |

Pete and Wendyby PedroComment: Sweet, clear, nice tones deep and dark to bright and light. Great focus and detail. Nice background and good dof use. A very wholesome photo that gives a wholesome feeling to this relationship - warm and strong. I like the angled composition - adds a bit of that whirl love gives you and creates a dynamic for your eye to follow. Excellent. |

Would you?by beggsComment: I like all the empty space - it is the visual equivalent of a question - the fingers line up nicely on a diagonal that emphasizes the ring and leads the eyeeither to it or away from it perhaps depending on the answer to the question. I am not sure what the brown object the hand is resting on is - it distracts my eye and does not add to the picture. Nice use of shallow DOF and nice focus. Wish the shadow falling on the finger below the ring might have been reduced by another light or a bounce. |

The Lovebirdsby David NewlandComment: What a lovely pair - and a perfect pose! I like how your composition includes the reflections - I might crop some more at the top to emphasize the reflections and also because there is nothing there that adds to the image. The light on the birds is bright and seems a little blown out in places on the wings - losing some detail. But the shape of the birds and their relationship to eachother are a more important factor in this picture than detail. |

Anything For Loveby anthonyczajaComment: Funny! the curtain of hair works as a lovely backdrop for the toad. The earings are a very nice touch - fanciful - and help definr the line of her jaw and almost draw your eyes more to her puckering lips. Wish the toad was coming out of the bottom left corner more and not floating into the fram from the left - looks a little zero-G. The light is lovely and golden (beautiful hair!) very fairy-tale romance. |

expressionby hopperComment: Very clean and even - I like the pristine feeling - fresh new love. The lighting is very even, perhaps a little bland in that it does not define the textures here distinctly - but it does give a soft effect. I think I might like to see a bit more contrast. Also all that empty space in the upper right corner is a little distracting - having the hand come down from there might fill the space better. Nice focus. |

The Girl With Golden Hairby unicumComment: The softness of this photo is very romantic. Her gaze looks full of daydreams - she is in another world. The light on her hair is a bright and real contrast with her mood - it is sharp and real and glowing. I like the balance. Good use of DOF to isolate the subject from the background. I like the color as well. |

Amourby JPRComment: I like the business of this scene - it is full of colors and everyday objects - but they all look somehow more special in the light of the central (on the 3rds line!) subjects who stand out in black with the umbrella - as if to help us see how much more beautiful the world looks when you are in love. All the horizontal and vertical lines frame the subjects well too - this picture is a delightful eyeful! |

Romanceby SteveinnzComment: Luminous while still being intracate. I like the abstract quality of the shapes the petals make, while still eing very aware of the conceteness of the rose. There is almost a movement to the shape - a pinwheel turning, unfurling - which is a fine way to portray romance. Very lovely. |

Moments by srugoloComment: The plain, sterile setting really emphasizes the relationship between your subjects. All those horizontal lines and the people are vertical but their gaze into eachother's eyes is horizontal too. Nice tones, good focus, even lighting. Lovely, one of my favorites for this challenge. |
