At Cross Purposesby krnodilComment: Nice choice to compose this so tight and centered- it forces the comparison and the doubling aspect. I like the textural detail and the bits of rusty color. But in the end, it is not such an engrossing subject. |

Wedding Pictureby veggieComment: Fun idea, and nicely lit. The green wrapper on the pot is distracting - a plain pit might have been better. The veil is also less than lovely - a more gauzy material fanning out behind the "bride's" head would be better. I'm afraid this looks more like an old bandage or stocking. |

It's all about accessories!by shalrathComment: Your choice of black and white helps emphasize the "two-ness" of the photographers. The composition is nice with them on the thirds line, pointing their cameras out over the spectacular view. But the picture becomes more about photography than about the two subjects. Very pleasing photo, just not so much for this challenge. |

table for twoby hkvamComment: What a glorious sky! And the golden light of the sun is nicely mirrored in the wine. The wine glasses being the subject, I wish they stood out more. Making them proportionally larger in the composition might work, or darken the water behind them a bit more. |

A fine pearby inshaalaComment: Fascinating doubling! New and old AND reflections to boot! Nicely composed with curves leaning into each other. Moody lighting works and the colors are great! |

Introducing the new onesby MambeComment: Very cute! I like the fact that each is looking across the other, their positions mirror image, one is black and one is gray, the soft furry texture of their fur, and the bright white background. The fold in the background, upper left, is distracting - you could dodge it out. I wish the lighting was a little more interesting - this just feels bright and all over... |

Double Dog Done Differentby msdoubletroubleComment: The contrast here is very high - you've lost details in the black and in the white. Perhaps it is what you intended, but I do not find it adds to the subject. |

D u o by JeffDayComment: This is quite lovely - I like how you have painted the blooms with light so that they appear to hang in the darkness. The doubling is very apparent. The photo is a bit dark, and the color cast is a bit yellow. I'd crop tighter to the flowers. |

Rhododendronby whiterookComment: Tow colors of rhododendrons - fine. But your composition doesn't really say double to me - your subject roams around the left and top edge of the frame, and is lost by all the leaves. The viewer's eyes wander about aimlessly, end up on the rocks at the bottom right. crop tighter on the lush pink bloom in the foreground with the darker blooms behind, perhaps out of focus, but still this sort of composition would ask the viewer to contrast the two similar things. |
