Stylin'by YomiComment: Wonderful shadows of the feathers on the head - great angle of light! |

Fallenby bgmorrisComment: The desaturation works well - all the color is drained out of this life. Nice composition with the face gazing off into the corner - and a line of grass/less grass down the center. |

Gone Apeby elijahjallenComment: The two beams crossing in front give us a sense of this limited "habitat." Nonethless, the subject is making the best of it with a game (?) The B&W works well - makes the ape the stand out. |

Wild and dangerousby marcoComment: So soft! Might crop this so it was just kittty - no blue, but with the top green to echo the eyes. |

Farmyard Maharajaby dsidwellComment: A royal position. Wish we could see his feet. The tree fanning out in the back is like a reminder of the beautiful tail and the fence post give a sense of place. |

Got Any Milk?by MonaComment: Two hedgehogs in one contest! You can really see the soft face fur and how it contrasts with the prickles. The stuff on the nose is cute but distracting. Lovely photo. |

Morning Swanby sselmanComment: lovely composition. The trees are graceful reminders of the swans and help frame the shot. The necks of the swand are so nice back (or side) lit - dark lines highlighted with white against petal like bodies. The grain of the sand fading into the ripples of the water into the soft horizon. |

Natures Refereeby TarbiniComment: I love the line of neck, jaw and mouth, But I'm not sure about the edges - I think I'd like to see more of the face - muzzle and eye and make it less abstract, OR less of the face -crop to the center of the face from the right and make it more abstract. A little less green too. |
