I noticed this in the thumbnails and enjoyed it even before I noticed it is Icelandic! I love the red and the blue and the calm of the water. Good off-center also. The only thing I'd do is to crop a little on the left and at the bottom - to lose the white thing in the corner - but NOT the great reflection of the radio tower. 9

Great subject , great composition, great blue sky - OOps let me get out my thesaurus - great... terrific, wonderful... No really I love these two - the spikes of their feathers and the points of their beaks. The expression on their faces - contemplating that big blue sky, while remaining for the time being grounded on that block of concrete.

The lighting and the off center composition give a feeling of loneliness and mystery to the figure on the bench. There are from distracting elements - the garbage can, the bits of something highlighted in the darkness beyond the figure. I might even crop from the sides and top (even crop out the light) to tighten the focus thematically.

Heavenly Sunset

I love structures soaring into the blue sky glowing with the dramatic low light of evening. The details of the architectures are so distinct. The crop a a little harsh wish I could see the spire - or at least feel my eyes had a satisfying stopping point - an obvious edge in the tower for the crop to intersect.

Turbulence

Dramatic. I like the contrast between the man-made, balanced architecture of the golden dome and the chaotic gray of the clouds. Man is off-center in the world of nature?

Matrioshka

Fun. Lovely detail of the paint job on the larger doll. Wish I could see more the the dolls - a whole line up as they get smaller and smaller? Why stop at two? The yellow background clashes a little with the gold and I wish the lighting were less flat.

Bubbles

NIce to have the bubbles blown into the picture - good off center. I like the reflection of the trees in the bubbles. Wisht the background were either sharp , or better, really out of focus so the bubbles would show up better.

Off Center Barn

The barn really pops out of this misty background. Wish it were a bit more of a traditional looking barn - the architecture is odd to me, and the bold lettering distracts from the quiet feel of the barn and field subject. But the barn off center, surrounded by fields and trees and sky works well for me.
