Dressed to Killby ChiquiComment: yikes! I like the movement into the white space - you feel her intent. I don't like the shadow under her arm - it would be cleaner and starker without. Wish the light came from below or behind to add a bit more drama. (check out Magnus -if looks could kill - kinda of similar) |

are you lookin' at me?by jbruno1397Comment: what a gorgeous horse! Someone has done some super grooming. The flash is a bit extreme, but it does add to the feeling that the horse is in the spotlight. |

It's Like Money Down The Drainby CatherineComment: nice how that one penny catches the light, focuses the theme. The shallow DOF heightens the effect. The bubbles help us see the claer water, and we catch a hint of drain underneath. nicely done. |

Six of one and a half dozen of anotherby neenee1999Comment: a fun line-up. Wish you has larger Dof, or at least the front apple and egg were sharp and the focus faded out as you go back. To have a uniform background - either blue or white would make us look at the 6 and the dozen rather than the line between the blu and white. |

You Can Lead a Horse to Water.....by vtruanComment: grass and water make a nice background for the three horses. NIce b&w choice. Wish the front horse wasn't quite so bright and theback two were brighter, but what can you do - this is real life! Not a studio, |

Going For Brokeby GolferDDSComment: Cool action! Are the dice really moving or did you pose them? Nice with the black back coming into the green foreground. The hand and the dice in it could be a good bit sharper, still very nice. |

I heard it through the grapevineby ursulaComment: fairie lighting - soft and shimmering, I like how the curce of hair mimics the curve of the vine, and her eyes make it look like she is listenning. Wish the "vine" came out more into the white space. 8 |

Birds of a Feather Flock Together (like DPC members)by TerryGeeComment: Nice birds! I like the crouching position balanced by the striding confidence of the other bird. Just enough suggestion of a ground for them to stand on, and nothing but white behind really focuses our attention of the birds, their expressions and personality. Nice range of grays, nice detail. Later, edit out those whispy lines on the right. 10 |
