Watching the stormby KatmystiryComment: Amazing to me what a quality ( coupled with your talent ) photo you took with an iPhone - but the crowning touch is the overlay of the window .. your use of it suits it so well - it really does look ( as jutilda commented ) as if you were taking the shot through your window or making the viewer feel as if they were looking through the window. 00060by pixelpigComment: In the thumb, my quick glance made me think it was a fairly normal shot of a daisy - and then- voila, you click on it and are amazed - almost looks like a painting by a frenzied artist working out her/his frustration .. then there is the number and the word off .. my mind tries to attach meaning to that .. love the deep sepia color peeking out at the bottom .. thank you for the story. |

Blossomby odriewComment: I love the way the light is hitting the flowers and how the sepia really compliments this photo .. just beautiful. |

that does not computeby JutildaComment: This is great ... agree with all the comments left. Coming back to add a few more thoughts as this shot stayed in my mind as I was off commenting on some of the other shots .. I am a real sci fi nut - love campy fifties shows - the swamp thing - the blob .. and I can see this as a poster for a sci fi movie in that era .. It has the perfect feel of an authentic shot from then .. the film strip, the ink running down into the frame ..the robot would be so futuristic for those times .. this is one heck of a great shot for a genre of movies and books I love. stranger on river street_b&wby ErinMComment: This is a great shot - his face just grabs your attention and you spend awhile on it, looking at the texture and the difference of expression in each of his eyes .. the oof b/g is perfect because his presence is what this photo is all about and nothing should distract from that..different from your other work but on the same level. |

in the groveby ErinMComment: Reading through the comments on this photo I see he is your son. He is an amazing model - not only handsome but he has presence - he holds his pose and it's an uncommon one .. his expression tells a story ... many stories depending on the viewers imagination. Your pping is amazing - I think I am so outclassed on this sc that I will stick with shooting birds and just watch you all from a distance. :) |

paddock by ErinMComment: Just wow again .. I have been living in a shell in that I didn't know your work .. amazing .. I can't imagine what I am going to find in your layers folders. The shadow in this shot, especially the tail of the horse mimics the curve of the mountain - impressive. |

fog settles inby ErinMComment: When I saw your name on the sc list, I realized I didn't know your work so I thought I would go and have a peek and this was my first peek. Wow. What an excellent photo - a masterful use of the fish eye - I would love to walk that road in the fog - the reflection is understated but perfect. I love the bush in the f/g. The composition is outstanding as is your choice in the dual tone tint.
Now I have to go and look some more. I love finding new (to me) photographers I admire. |
