I really appreciate the comments that I've received, as well as the favorites. I was ecstatic to be given the Posthumous Blue Ribbon. Thank you so much, Don. I'm thinking that I may start entering challenges more than once a year now. :)

When I saw your name on the sc list, I realized I didn't know your work so I thought I would go and have a peek and this was my first peek. Wow. What an excellent photo - a masterful use of the fish eye - I would love to walk that road in the fog - the reflection is understated but perfect. I love the bush in the f/g. The composition is outstanding as is your choice in the dual tone tint.

Now I have to go and look some more. I love finding new (to me) photographers I admire.

What a beautiful landscape. I have often wondered why people would use a fisheye lens. Now I understand. Again I am awed by your talent.

There's that fisheye again! Great image for this challenge, and love how that road swings you through the composition.

wow, I wish I would have voted this time around. This is my favorite. I could hang this on my wall. There are many good shots in the top 20 but this one just has it.

Nice subject. I like the fog, tree, and curving road. I think I would have cropped out most of the foreground and just kept the reflection in the puddle and the crosswalk connected to it (some road engineer had a twisted sense of humor if that puddle is there very often!).

Stunning photograph. Masterfully divided composition creates endless visual interest. The Clarkean processing is mysterious and divine, purposefully extending the tree's reflection into a nearby shrub, thereby shaking a perception that has already been stretched thin by the wide angle lens. This has Posthumous Blue Ribbon written all over it.

7 - Nice tones, good use of fish-eye, like the overall balance. Reflections are nice, albeit subtle. Like your crop/composition.

The reflection is not the strongest aspect of this photo, but it really is a great picture. The white lines on the road with the snow really give it some great contrast.
