Soft Shades of Yellowby KelliComment: this is a beautiful shot..... well photographed - the flowers have an overall orange cast.. with advanced editing available, adding more yellow to the flowers might have been a good idea |

A Balanced Mealby LN13Comment: ok, this is nasty..... it's late.. dinner is only a memory and I am hungry :) the structure in this shot works.. the only thing that might have improved this shot would be a darker background - the white seems to desaturate the yellows. |

clownin' aroundby hopperComment: in this case, centering the subject works..... the background is a stroke of genius.. it really compliments the models color... the only change that would encourage me to give a higher score would be if the models 'hair' was more yellow - an overall great shot! 7 |

Yellow Roomby chaliceComment: I like grids... this is an interesting take on the challenge... each little square has it's own composition - two things that might improve this shot even more would be a crisper focus, and cropping it around the four by six grid of windows. |

F/V Alexander Returning to Dockby jrjrComment: the sky is very interesting.. i like the subtle gradient - the ship would have commanded more attention (from me) if it had not been so close to the center - I like the reflection in the water..... on my monitor the color of the ship is more orange than yellow |

Sewing in Yellowby ElaineComment: an original take on the challenge.. well photographed - not sure how you could make this a better shot - your composition is very good and I do appreciate abstracts which I consider this photo to be - this shot would also satisfy the texture challenge quite well. |
