The Champby Wenders11Comment: Great work!
This does say a story (finally one that does!)
The backlighting is perfect for this but even more so is the positioning, which places the child on the top of the world for a moment. It gives a message that this is a story that most children experience(which is why the sillouette works so well as it keeps the face unknown and hence can be anyone), one of winning a game, of the satisfaction of accomplishment.
this deserves a ribbon for sure

Traditionby meyersComment: Very nice capture suitable for a report on the country its from (im not sure where it is though SE asia? Korea?).
The dof calls our attention to the most interesting part of the photo.
Did you try a tighter crop? mainly on the right? not sure if it would make it better, just an idea |

guyshad.jpgby IraklisComment: like a dog to a hydrant...
great lighting brother
I like the crop a lot especially the diagonal shadow leading to the bottom left corner. The way you left just a tine bit of the blinding sun for us to see is a nice touch.

FS-0408-v2-inc-lucis-toned2.jpgby salmiakkiComment: The composition is great, makes you feel like you were at exactly water level when it was shot.
The tree, the clouds , the building on the right with the sign, along with the converging point of water sky and housing is what I like. |

Tampellaby salmiakkiComment: Like a commenter said, the hdr is is really good. Its not overdone at all, but brings out all the details that one would miss without the HDR effect. Good work! |

18 - Vanessaby BudComment: You know how to capture her eyes very very well, the whiteness of them is what I like the most.
Also, the way her face caomes out of the shadows is great.
Im not a huga fan of portraits, nor am very knowledgable in what should constitute a good portrait photo, but the is very good.
Thought I had you in faves, but didnt, and have done so now Message edited by author 2008-05-08 09:35:33. |

SOLOby colorcarnivalComment: very cool shot. I love the color tones and the center framing of the subject with the two vines that lead to it.
Very nice |
