oh, a life in the day of a cat. This captures their fast, slinking personalities so well, the blur of her moving against the focused surroundings. might also be of more interest to crop out the right side of the image to the line about just right of the tree edge & give the cat the spotlight..

john, what are you using for your blur & the color tones of this series of yours? Is this PP or some basic in the camera setup you start with & then finish? this appears as though the subject is part of the embers of a dying fire...though not uncomfortable at all. her face is expressionless. I could se this is a metaphor for dying love, and perhaps she's the one who has changed her mind...
