Cheetah huh?by bennettjamieComment: A little too out of focus, and the contrast is weak. I would've worked on that and I think you would have had a much better picture. You should also be careful as to what is behind your subject. It looks like the hair on his head is all puffy, but it's actually rubbish in the background. |

IMGP5633.jpgby chris48083Comment: I would love to get into this type of photography. I just don't have the cash. As far as commenting on the photo, it's going to be tough since I'm not sure what you can do with the camera/telescope to make things better. In photoshop however, I would use use something to sharpen then edges a bit more, perhaps use a highpass filter on a vivid layer. A little dodging and burning might help out a bit too, but without having played with this type of photo it's hard to say. Still, I like it and I'm sure others will comment on it as well with more useful advice. |

Veinsby ryandComment: Love the textures here. I've been wanting to do some macro work similar to this. Love the way you processed it. I think this should've placed much better. |

DSC_1422by ryandComment: As the others have said before, focus is the issue. I think a higher aperture would've helped out a bit. I would've gone for 2.2 with that lens when doing portraits, then slow down the shutter to about 1/80. I love portraits and when you focus on the nose, the eyes may be quite soft to work with in close with your software to touch things up. |

Swan Lake by De SousaComment: I would have to say that what makes this picture so great is it's simplicity. Sometimes people OVER think their ideas, but this one comes out simple but just nails the challenge. I should've been thinking origami, since I live in Japan...but alas, I didn't. I have however tried to duplicate the shot with little success. I need to work on my lighting. You have it down pat!! Love it!! |

WorldTower.jpgby cujeeComment: This looks like a never ending building. I've tried doing this in Japan but there are just too many wires to work around. I like the darkness of the building and how the clouds seem to avoid it as it goes around the building. |
