Ellieby NeuferlandComment: beautiful bright exposure. good job with the fill lights from the left. Nice soft focus. good eye for the positioning of the background. If I had to pick one item to critique, it would be the overly bright hair on the right side. It it partially blown out. |

Looking Backby StuckOnTheFarmComment: good composition. the dark blue water pops out the swan very well. Good job in capturing lots of details in the white areas of the feathers. |

Qwest Fieldby madcrabberComment: nice composition. I like how you created borders with the bridge at the bottom and the blue arc at the top. The curved bridges invite the viewer to explore more details. Good night exposure |

Kiss the Sunby smellyfish1002Comment: I like your picture very much. a successful b/w conversion. The picture lives nicely through the contrast of the big black silhouette of the ballon against the cloud hidden sun. You did a great job keeping the shades and structure of the clouds intact. 10 + fav |

Rememberance of our Youthby lantagaComment: I look at your picture and feel that something does not fit. Dn't get me wrong, technically your pciture is sound and solid. When I was the little girls age, I thought the waves were HUGE and the beach endless. Somehow the perspective of your picture does not support the title. Beuatiful colors and placement of your models |

Old Truckby drake217Comment: Nice old truck. unfortunately your composition does not do it justice.
I like the idea you had, showing the garage sign, a shallower DOF would have blurred the sign more and would have highlighted the truck.
I wish you would have waited for the shadow to cover the entire truck, not just parts of it - causing the high contrast areas. If you look at the words Chevrolet in front, you see how beautifully the blue sky shows up in the shady part and how washed out the left part is. The reflections of the clauds/sky in the windshield also take away from your picture. Just a person opinion, but I would not have cut the light in half.
All of this is just my thinking and my ideas. Showing the beauty of cars is not easy. Usually it's done by unusual/low angles and from the side. |

A Colourful Lifeby mvpComment: very good DOF and strong colors! I wished the background was alittle less busy on the right side. Nice details. |

University Fallsby KaliComment: good wrok capturing the water fall. a few things I noticed in no particular order: I love the way you show the mist that is over the entire scene. the logg leading into the pcitre and the strong contrast to the whites of the water, glad you did not oversaturate the greens (as seen too often), the way you bounce the viewer over many steps down the waterfall with the log providing a boundary and leading right back into your picure |
