Historic Hiking Trail

Oregon has over 800 cataloged waterfalls... this is one I've recently discovered and is the most photographed waterfall in Tillamook State Forest.

There wasn't anything contrasting the waterfall to make it really stand out. It just seems to fade into the background.

avg vote, its pretty but find i'm focusing on stick rather then falls and the spray causes cloudyness over the falls.

I like the mist in air.

Nice misty waterfall. On one hand that plank leads the eye into the waterfall and on the other hand it seems to "cut off" the lower right hand corner...at least to me.

Pretty long exposure - motion capture, but my eye is having trouble knowing where to settle. Maybe a wider crop showing more of the falls?

too much fog or spray here to see details. dark rock in foreground is a bit distracting

good wrok capturing the water fall. a few things I noticed in no particular order: I love the way you show the mist that is over the entire scene. the logg leading into the pcitre and the strong contrast to the whites of the water, glad you did not oversaturate the greens (as seen too often), the way you bounce the viewer over many steps down the waterfall with the log providing a boundary and leading right back into your picure

This image doesnt grab me. Seems like it was shot with a not long enough exposure to really allow the water to have that cool long exposure effect. As it is here it just seems out of focus and a bit flat.
