Based on the looks of these players, I doubt the smash was lucky. Is this a national team? Just curious what competition this is (I love VB BTW, I used to play in tournaments until I wrecked my shoulder).

I don't like the tilted horizon on this shot at all though.. the emotion is great and the lighting, colors and exposure are spot on.

Nice tribute, recognized it immediately. The lighting isn't as good as the original though :( The subjects are in too much shadow. I like the overall execution though and that's worth some points.

Update to my previous comment-- congratulations on winning. I'm glad to see DPC finally recognize a proper astrophoto. I am quite surprised that it was voted into first place, only because astrophotos usually tank on this site-- it truly is an excellent image. I'm sure it also helps to hide the only-10-subs noise by shrinking it to 640x480 :)

The FSQ 106 is an outstanding scope, and color me jealous of your EM200 mount! That is a serious amount of money though, it ought to produce awesome images :)
