Blue Mephistoby kyeboshComment: Good idea but I really feel like part of the photo is missing with the crop you've chosen. |

perkins madnessby sendroveroverComment: This shot actually fits the challenge much better than some of the other photos. The quality just isn't there. If you correct for the color cast from the wrong white balance it improves quite a bit. It looks like it was shot at a restaurant so there was no real control of the lighting but if you could have used a polarizer it may have negated the harsh glare. I'm not sure if it's motion blur or lack of focus but it needs to be much sharper. A more overhead angle so your subject is parallel to the sensor would also be nice. |

Farm Outreach Programby TechnoShroomComment: Interesting, this photo has the highest Average vote from people with no camera of any of my challenge photographs. It's higher than most of averages for the top 10. I wonder what made this appeal to them so? |

Soft touchby nicklevyComment: I actually had to call several people into the room to see this photo. At first glance, even second, we all though it was somebody masturbating. My girlfriend's first response as I brought the image up (all I told her was to take a look at this photo) was, "ewwwwww, why would somebody post that".
The hand obscures most of the finger and with the hair at the base it really does give the impression of penis. The towel also gives the impression it is there as a clean up tool. Until I pointed out the small bit of fingernail at the top they wouldn't believe me that it was a child holding an adults hand. One person upon taking a second look after the initial shock said, "wait, is that a child jacking him off?!?!"
I hope you don't take this the wrong way. I'm only sharing because our initial reactions were so off the mark as to be hilarious. They aren't meant to offend. |

Ecstasyby nico_blueComment: I don't know why but, I see where the real subject is and yet my eye consistently goes to the hair on the finger. |

Evidence of a Touchby TomH1000Comment: lol, this was my first idea for the challenge but I wanted to do a more crime scene shot. It's good to see someone used the idea though. |

Sunsetby GoboltsComment: Looks a little over-sharpened. Reducing it would prevent the haloing around the trees and reduce the harshness of the noise. |
