You sound like me with the snapshot then the 500 shots set up to get it right... I was out in the snow for 45 min yesterday shooting that snow shot LOL AND, no, those were not socks, they were my house shoes :) I love the way you make use of natural light. I only hope I can get as good! The contrasty light and dark really make this picture.
