Good idea. I would rather have seen it sharp throughout, as I don't think shallow DOF works in a far away shot like this. If you had been tighter ni on the two pieces in the foreground, that technique would have worked better, but here you're asking the viewer to look at all the pieces, not just the foreground ones, so a smaller f-stop would work better.

Good moment, just doesn't say hate to me. It also could have been improved with a tighter crop starting just to the left of and just below the zebra facing the camera. The half in/half out zebra distracts from the center of focus in the image.
