This could use a little more processing I think, just a tad more contrast and maybe using the airbrush too to get rid of the shaddow under her chin whihc i am assuming is from the flash.

oh my GOSH what a wonderful photograph! your dodging and burning in the rocks was done very well but the picture has such a wonderful background that it takes away from the impact of your wonderful happy kids. I would suggest a vignette of sorts by just darkening around the kids in a circle, definitely focusing on darkening the sky. That will make the lightest part of the photograph your children and they will catch your eye very quickly. I also think it could use a teeny bit of saturation boost as well. Great shot! i know your wife will love it!
