Portrait of a Jumperby darnokComment: nice detail in the spider and whatever it is sitting on. i think this is just a tad oversharpened though but it gives it a cool alien feel. nice different angle...not sure if i like it because i automatically turned my head and now after staring at it for a minute my neck hurts :) but yeah cool macro! |

In The Momentby alonzo76okComment: ohhh nice! this must have been a tough shot to catch. you probably didn't have many opportunities to catch this but i think that the sun being right there behind him makes it feel a little cramped. i love the detail in the wave in the water |

Desolate Beautyby Breeee123Comment: great model! i think the photoshoping is a bit overdone though. It is smooth in some places and then the lighting gets harsh in others, it doesnt all seem to flow together as well as this could. |

Untitledby GThumbtackComment: To me there isn't really much composition here, there is not focal point and having the tree right in the middle makes it a bit stagnant. exposure on the darker bushes is night but the blown out leaves take away from this in my opinion |

Fishermen's Creekby ellulsComment: nice textures, could be a bit sharper i think. maybe a little bit too much hdr seems a little more neon than what i normally like. this is nicely composed though, great placement of the boats in the frame and i especially like the added touch of the reflections |

Brook 1.jpgby dssagent88Comment: I think that it is delightful! in her cheeks and eyes there is something going off with the focus though, like it was slightly burred and then oversharpened, this is something i have struggled with and see as a semi issue in this shot:
(this is just a very very nitpicky thing)
I think this can be fixed by doing a usm with a very small radius and high percentage...try it out i am not sure.
otherwise great job with the lighting, i love the catch lights in her hair! it makes her dark hair stand out from the black background. I think this could use just a tad more light from the bottom to get rid of some of that shadow on her neck and put more light in her eyes, this could be done by just positioning a reflector to bounce the light back up.
:-D ADORABLE KID! |
