Very nice set up. Love the tree in the back. Overall lighting very nice. Two things I might suggest...the angle of the shot seems slightly low, like we're looking upwards. Perhaps just a bit higher and straight on. The other is that the border might work better if there was more room around the shot but as it is, I'd prefer just the solid line so that it doesn't cut into the figurines.

To be honest, I feel like this is rather shoehorned into the challenge. That being said, it's a nice shot, nice lighting but your frame detracts from it quite a bit.

I think the setup idea here is good. It's suffering a bit from lighting problems. The candle flame is awfully bright and the front of Santa isn't very well lit. Perhaps a little more lighting from the front ot highlight his face?

The reflection is very cool! Are the beads at the bottom slightly out of focus? Seems like there's a bit of blur there. I'd also really like to see this in color. The B&W just seems to be lacking something, I'm not sure why. Maybe I just think of the holidays as being in color. :)

Nice and simple. Two minor things I'd change: I'd probably make the background whiter, rather than the grayish gradient it has now and I think the light reflection is just a bit harsh...maybe lighten that up a little.

I'm not quite sure what that is in the background (candle? vase?) but it's awfully distracting. The concept is good and the colors of the flower are quite pretty. Perhaps more flower?
