Good image for slow shutter speed :)
Depth of field, and camera position were perfect to get this just right. It's a critter classic!

This is a beautiful image! The way you painted the crosses makes a huge difference in the way the image stands out. The only thing that I see that could be better, and I can understand why you didn't, is to also paint the cross on the steeple with a stationary light. Maybe with photoshop someday you can do that. The orange interior lighting also brings a lot to the image in color contrast. Good choices for lighting, and a great subject for what you created from it. This would make a good poster.

This is one of the best images that I have ever seen of an owl at rest. I see that you uploaded it in Aug, but it looks like a winter feather coat, and puffed up like it's cold out. I have a few owl images, but they are on slide film from long ago. This image would have cleaned house in the "brown" challenge. Too bad the image was not made at the time of the challenge. I see no way to improve on your image.

The store and the location work togather in this image. It's good that you didn't crop out the background when you were shooting it, as it adds a lot of information to the image about the subject. It's also nice that they didn't burn it to make more room in the field behind it. The boarded up windows detract a little from the image which is not something you could do anything about. The title seems a bit long, but it describes the location as coastal so it helps place the scene. You have many excellent images in your portfolio. It was not easy to choose which to comment on.

Children are the best of subjects. When they play, they are totally immersed in their own world, and it's not too difficult to get pics that are candid. The only thing that needs anything here is to perhaps crop a little on the right, and then a little off the top to maintain the size format.

The bridge piers and the repeating image of the surfer seem to fit with each other.
What a neat way to illustrate the action, with the multiple images thru the event. this could be a good training tool, as well as a very classy poster for those involved in this sport.

Gentle looking horse. It looks content but like it needs some TLC . The pose and B&W bring the image to life. Love the hair-do :-)

Have to grin at this one. Good view of a very human situation. The crop with the mouth expression is just right for this. Is that your 67 Falcon?

This is an excellent image. It would have been a good entry for the "diagonal" challenge for sure. It's quite abstract, just color form and motion, which is a nice disconnect from the usual static capture of a split second.
I like it too, as I see others have commented.
Good title too. It really fits the scene.

You have to go where the photos are to get them. No guts no glory.
The Canon Mk II are water resistant, but not Nikons.
I like the divider block in the background.
Thanks for the grin.
