My Neighbor's Barnby daboardergirlComment: That's a heavy duty barn! I like the color combo, and the geometry of brick, windows, and wires.
What's going on at the bottom of the image, or is that just a glitch in the upload/download? I will D/L it again and remove this if it not there at that time. |

_DSC3840day5.jpgby griz210Comment: Nothing fancy. My kind of place too. I see that fuel is a lot cheaper there too. It is around $ 2.25 to 2.35 here for low grade.
I like the water tower, and the old abandoned looking gas station in the background. I wonder if you remember when the old station was still in operation. Message edited by author 2007-02-05 09:51:00. |

Day 5.1 - The houseby xianartComment: Good PP with this one. It's a house, but it is "you' that makes it a home.
I don't think it will get the amount of comments and activity that your "Monty Python" self portrait did. : ) |

DAY 5.5 . where i live . my roadby rozComment: A good polarizer would help a lot. There is a lot of difference in quality in them, and generally the best ones are pricey. We only get one opportunit to capture each image, so it is money well spent. Another trick learned from my brother was to shoot "naked", with no filter at all sometimes, esp when shooting away from the sun to get the deep blue in the sky.
This looks like a Florida backroads scene, except that there are no pine trees. |

Treeby RetroesqueComment: Cool, "symatree"! I like trees too. I guess you can tell from seeing my images. It hurts me when they destroy big pieces of land and put up "cookie cutter" houses and big condos here. |

DAY 5. where i live. our paddock .by rozComment: It must be very peaceful, and sometimes boring, where you live. I am happy that you have your photo hobby and internet to enjoy. Let us know how far it is to Picton when you post day 6. |

Day 5by karmatComment: I can easily see why you enjoy living in this town. It looks like my concept of what "Mt Pilot" must have looked like in the "Andy Griffith" television series.
In your image it certainly looks like a little slice of small town America, with all the details, the two lane main st, the churches, even the flag in the foreground. I am glad that you got a haze free day to get this. |

Franklin Houseby banmornComment: Very strong graphic quality and power colors. The tilt kicks it in gear too. Grabber image. |
