Day 2 Garden Fenceby ElaineComment: The low angle and post in the foreground helps to give this shot depth. The texture on the post in interesting too, and compliments the flowers well. Good DOF. |

Day 2 - Sunriseby xXxscarletxXxComment: This is a great sky Amy. I shoot sky a lot, and have learned to shoot with the bottom of the frame just low enough to show all of the horizon. The exceptions would be when using a fisheye lens which bends the horizon when the horizon is above or below the center line of the frame, or if there is something in the foreground (usually water or a tree) that I want included. I learned this from my nephew Doug Thompson (.net) who is a very well known architectural photographer here.
With this image, a crop will take care of that, but you will have a wide pic, or have to lose some of that georgeous sunrise sky on the sides. This kind of sky also looks great with a long lens like 300mm. A long lens shot would give an awesome perspective to the cloud cover in the right edge of the scene in this image.
If you can get the blue part of the sky up in PP, it would give a lot more image power to the orange.

Barn Day 2by emily212Comment: What a post card looking place. I see that you will be able to make this into a great image with the right processing to get the colors and levels where you want them. |

MinimalDay4Web1.jpgby cogeroxComment: What a happy pic! I enjoy the contrast in textures with the smooth steel and the tree bark. The kids are having a big time here, and it shows in their faces. Fine action shot, and that lens is a keeper for sure. |

Day 5by HipychikComment: I like the way you included the whole trees, and yes, that is a very pleasing sky. I can see where "levels" and "contrast" will help this a lot to get the shadow areas up. Neat looking place. I would think it worth a spring time shot too. |

Minimal Edit PAD 5 "Pelican in Air"by noranekoComment: As sharp as this is, it looks primed for putting it in a new sky from another shot.
The pelican looks like it's wondering where the treat is for giving you the nice pose. |

Day 5by xianartComment: Very nice the way the blue sky reflects thru the arch and echos the arch. I like the textures in all the stone too. The rock in the foreground adds some to the sense of scale. low angle light is nice too. The shapes and textures seem to make this image very pleasing to see. I can see where pp is going to make a difference in the way the stone looks, esp sharpening and levels. |

Day 1by HipychikComment: I like the blue sky, and that it shows thru the belfry. The tree being so dark adds the "spooky" look. |

Fringeby AliciaComment: I like the way the sky gradient falls off as it goes away from the white area around the sun.
Maybe the thing in the corner is a magic wand, and the sun is the "zap" ? : ) |
